Commercial Animation

This was my first animation job at Filmgraphics. The biscuit was created in 3D at Animal Logic and tracked and replaced over the hand-drawn version.
I animated the 30 second ad and had many different incarnations of Mr Sheen to play with. It was a very enjoyable job.
The sequences of Mr Sheen as the Puppet were traditionally 2D animated by me, then that animation was used as position keys for the 3D animator.
Animating the Strongbow commercials allowed me to stretch my Manga arm.
This was the second of the two Strongbow commercials I animated. Stills were taken to create a comic for the print ad.
Jasmine is the DJ in the club. Finlandia Vodka Pulp, or Pulp Friction as we titled it, was my first job as Animation Director. I did the storyboards, layouts, character design, animation and music direction for this 45 second cinema ad, and was very happy with the excited stir it made in the commercial animation industry.
This scene was edited out of the 30 second cut-down for television, because Tigerlily scratches Todd's stomach and creates blood welts, before grabing the Pulp bottle from Todd's hand (which is nestled at his crotch). The sequence was deemed to risque for television.
This is the animation still I chose to represent the Finlandia Vodka Pulp Ad. To me it says everything about the spirit of the commercial. I loved working on this style of ad.
