Quentin Hordern was born in Sydney and grew up on a farm on the outskirts at a place called Oakdale. After completing high school, Quentin travelled around Australia working as a jackaroo. He then moved to South East Asia and worked with a non government organisation (NGO) for almost eight years. He also worked on aid projects in several countries with the longest stint in North India. He returned to Sydney in the 1990’s and, after completing a Bachelor of Education (University of Western Sydney), went on to complete a Masters in IT Education (University of Southern Queenslan). He is now the Faculty Head of Technology at Macarthur Anglican School, Cobbitty. Quentin has a keen interest in web development and enjoys the constantly changing nature of his field.
