In March 1992, BMP entered into a contract with Warp Graphics. BMP agreed to provide six issues of an ElfQuest spin-off comic series to be published as Elfquest: WaveDancers. The storyline for the first series resulted in WaveDancers #1 to #6 being published in 1993 to 1994.
